Key Responsibilities

• Draft all litigation related documents including Plaints, Answers, List of Documents & Witnesses, Issues and Admissions, Affidavits and motions.
• Conduct Pretrial and assist the external lawyers in the conduct of trials.
• Represent the Company in all judicial forums and provide timely updates.
• Execute Mortgage Bonds and other related notarial documents on behalf of the Company.
• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of conveyancing and property law.
• Assist in the preparation of title reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all legal requirements are met during the loan approval process.

Eligibility

• Should be an attorney at law with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Possess a notarial license to practice in Sinhala/English language in Colombo and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in conveyancing.
• Experience in the NBFI sector would be an added advantage.
