The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Area Sales Manager. The position exists for managing the Sales Supervisors in the assigned area, with respect to infrastructure, processes and overall operations to ensure outstanding implementation company vision, while ensuring agreed Return On investment and distribution objectives.
Area Sales Manager – Southern Region
Job Responsibilities:
- Appointing distribution agents and General Trade distribution channels island wide
- Meeting the sales objective assigned to the area.
- Encourage market share, growth, and merchandising.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as up-selling to the existing customer base.
- Obtaining market and competitor information.
- Preparing regular reports and participating in regular meetings to review performance.
- Evaluating the potential of the market.
- Providing management decision-makers information.
- Distributor Management includes management of trade discount budget, distributor and market credit, distributor profitability and market returns.
Profile:
- Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Sales Management with 3 – 5 years of experience in FMCG.
- Knowledge of the specific trade and distribution system, Customer requirements.
- Communication skills and Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Time management and Decision-making ability.
- Strong team player at all organizational levels.
