COMMUNICATIONS & STRATEGIC OUTREACH

The Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) is a renowned economic research organisation that provides authoritative analysis to influence public policy in Sri Lanka. Who are we looking for?

The IPS seeks to recruit a creative and experienced professional to lead all aspects of our research communications. You will work closely with the researchers to produce and disseminate our research findings through multiple mediums including publications, conferences, media, social media, and website content. Working as part of our team, you will use the initiative and develop new ideas to support the strategic policy outcomes of our research programme.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or related field. A background in social sciences will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in devising and delivering communications strategies at managerial level (knowledge or experience of socioeconomic issues will be an added advantage).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong writing skills, copyediting experience.
  • Hands on experience of social and digital communications.
  • Ability to network with institutional stakeholders, including media.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work effectively across different activities.
