Senior Mechanic
Location – Dehiathtakandiya
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust sewing machines based on garment type and production requirements.
- Perform technical tasks for daily sample preparation, including part changes and tuning.
- Maintain and repair sewing and fusing machines to minimize breakdown time.
- Supervise machine cleaning and ensure proper maintenance by operators.
- Ensure machines are clean and sample-ready, free from oil or stain marks.
- Support productivity by providing timely mechanical assistance and adjustments.
- Supply and install machine folders and attachments as required by production and quality teams.
Individual Profile
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a mechanic in the apparel industry, with a focus on pant production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
