We seek a proactive and dynamic individual to oversee all aspects of the production process in the company’s manufacturing facility located in Wattala.
The Assistant Production Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and supporting all aspects of the production processes in the facility. The role involves a combination of hands-on tasks, coordination, and management responsibilities to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety protocols.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing production processes. The responsibilities encompass thorough planning, execution, and vigilant monitoring of quality standards and cost efficiencies. The candidate will also play a crucial role in providing essential coordination in the procurement of raw materials, equipment and skilled labor while fostering effective communication across various departments in the organization.
Qualifications required for the position include a Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Physical Science or a closely related field. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of practical experience in a machine intensive manufacturing facility in an executive capacity. A comprehensive understanding of production processes and a commitment to implement and maintain health and safety standards is paramount. Candidates should demonstrate good leadership ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Proficiency in the application of manufacturing metrics is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in an ERP environment and a strong command of Microsoft Excel are fundamental skills. Candidates aged between 30 and 40 are encouraged to apply.
