EXECUTIVE - PRODUCTION PLANNING & MATERIAL CONTROLS

We are an innovative and growing company with operations planned to expand around the world, is looking for a young dynamic person to join our team as Executive - Production Planning & Material Controls with proven relevant or similar experience in the following key responsible areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Possess an Overall knowledge in an ERP system for Production costing modules.
- Knowledge in BOM (Bill of Material) creation and checking.
- Check the items with their quantities of the BOMs with the pre costing prepared for products for completeness and accuracy.
- Check the actual material consumption of products against the BOMs (details line by line checking of a production entry).
- Inquire the reasons for variations from the production data entry staff.
- Report all under and over utilization of materials.
- Providing reports related to Hourly production entries and checking the Variation there.
- Analysing the report related to Daily Machine stoppages Reasons.
- Taking responsibility and overseeing the daily tasks of Data Entry operators.
- Full responsibility for tea and material stock and responsibility to the Accounts Department in that regard. Also taking responsibility for the annual stock taking.
- Daily and weekly return of material and tea dealing with the relevant department.
- Providing the monthly wastage report to the relevant authorities.
- Checking the accuracy of transactions (FG/Production) in the ERP system on a daily basis.
- Updating the GDN in the system and sending a weekly report to the Account Department and the Shipping Department.
- In the case of contract packing, update the GRN in the system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in production planning, material control, or a related area, with progressive responsibility.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, etc.) for production planning and material management.
- Familiarity with Regulatory Requirements: Understanding of industry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO standards for quality management).
- Experience in optimizing production processes to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Ability to lead and manage change, especially in implementing new production technologies or methodologies.
- Advance knowledge of Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are highly valued.
- Experience in manufacturing environments with knowledge of lean manufacturing, just-in-time (JIT) practices, and other production efficiency methodologies.
A self-motivated person, with good communication skills and a proven track record for meeting deadlines with a positive attitude, eager to learn and adapt to new environments.
