Deputy Sales Manager - Homemart
Role and responsibilities
- Manage and drive project sales to meet and exceed company targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and developers.
- Oversee and support the sales process for project-related inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery is on time and within budget.
- Analyze project sales figures, track trends, and provide detailed reports to management.
- Coordinate project-related activities with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ensure that all project-related sales activities align with company policies and objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and bids.
- Regularly conduct meetings with the sales team to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints related to project delivery and sales.
- Manage the showroom when necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote team building by encouraging collaboration and skill development.
The person
- We are looking for a result-oriented individual with a proven track record in project sales.
- The ideal candidate must be over 25 years old, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or project management role.
- Experience in hardware, building materials, or related industries will be highly preferred.
- A proactive, strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills.
- Experience in handling B2B sales and managing large-scale projects will be an added advantage.
- Full or part-qualified in SLIM/CIM or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written in English and Sinhala.
