Onva Logistics (Pvt) Ltd, a fast-growing player in the logistics and freight forwarding sector, is looking for a skilled and proactive Asst. Manager Operations to lead and manage our ocean import operations.
Asst. Manager – Operations
Location: Onva Logistics (Pvt) Ltd – Head Office, Rajagiriya
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all ocean import activities and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to handle documentation, customs clearance, and inland logistics.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and resolve import-related issues efficiently.
- Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the import team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in imports or freight forwarding.
- Strong understanding of Sri Lankan customs procedures and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
