Assistant Manager - HR Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with Sri Lankan labor laws and industry standards relevant to MEP engineering and construction.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for MEP professionals, including project managers, engineers, and skilled technicians, with a focus on assessing technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing domains.
  • Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and workforce planning to drive operational excellence.
  • Oversee training and development programs designed for the MEP sector, focusing on both technical and professional skills.
  • Establish and maintain a robust HR framework that supports business growth, project efficiency, and employee engagement.
  • Administer payroll, compensation, benefits, and grievance resolution in alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Age below 40 Years.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 05 years of HR experience, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in Sri Lanka.
  • Proven ability to recruit and evaluate candidates with MEP-specific technical expertise.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Experience in workforce planning, organizational development, and employee retention in a dynamic work environment.
