Executive Housekeeper

Taj Samudra Colombo, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our esteemed human resources team. We currently have openings for experienced Executive Housekeeper to contribute to the success and excellence of our facilities.

Responsibilities

As Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for managing one of the largest and most essential departments within the hotel. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of an exceptional guest experience through the consistent upkeep of guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards. You will oversee the entire housekeeping team, providing clear direction, ongoing training, and performance management. Additionally, you will implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure all guest facilities are impeccably maintained, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality or Business Administration.
  • At least five years experience as a senior leader in a housekeeping department.
  • Experience in luxury hotel brands.
  • Excellent HACCP knowledge.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Passion for developing others.
  • Age below 50 years.
