About the Role

The Manager – Facility Management is responsible for overseeing all facility operations including maintenance, security, safety, and infrastructure. The role ensures the efficient functioning of organizational spaces while meeting regulatory standards and cost-efficiency goals.

The Job

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, including security and utilities, parking space allocation, waste disposal.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets, cost estimations and negotiate vendor contracts for facility-related services (cleaning, security, repairs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate office space allocation and workspace optimization.
  • Supervise facility staff and external service providers.
  • Ensure timely resolution of facility-related complaints and issues raised by employees or stakeholders.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience and knowledge in administration of security, Janitorial staff & office assistants are preferred.
  • Basic communication skills both English & Sinhala.
  • A male candidate, age below 35 years and willing to work extended hours.
  • Minimum 2-4 Years' experience in Facility Management.
