Overview of the role
The Business Analyst will be providing insights and drive strategic initiatives for the Lubricants Business (BP Castrol), with a dual focus on strategic planning and operational reporting.
What You Will Do
- Formulation, presentation, and delivery of the divisional/company strategy including financial modeling and budgeting assistance.
- Understand the issues impact of the business and lead and drive change through the business with a focus on KPIs and customer-centric approach.
- Provide strategic decision-making support to management, combining deep business understanding with financial leadership.
- Operational reporting, controls, and exceptions management.
- Preparation of communications including presentations and assistance in principle reporting/management information on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
- Forecasting, feasibility studies, and business planning.
- Internal and external coordination as and when required.
What equips you for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy / Finance / Analytics from a recognized university.
- Full/part qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA or related professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- A proven track record in a Business Analyst role in the automotive industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and management reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP is a significant advantage.

- Proficiency in Advance Excel and data analysis tools.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills with presentation and organizing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
