THE POST OF PRODUCTION PLANNING EXECUTIVE

Lakpa Footwear (Pvt) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of high-quality footwear, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planning Executive to join our team. As a Production Planning Executive, you will be playing a crucial role in performing efficient production planning, execution and achieving the production target through the well coordination with entire production team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop comprehensive short-, mid- and long-term production plans aligned with sales forecasts, inventory targets and order confirmations.
- Raw Material Planning & Control
- Prepare detailed raw material forecasts and share timely material requirement plans with the procurement/ RM warehouse team and ensure material consumption planning is aligned with actual BOMs and SQU-wise requirements.
- Finished Goods Forecasting & Delivery Alignment
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure alignment between production output and FG requirements.
- Floor-Level Production Management Support
- Provide daily production schedules to line supervisors and follow up on progress. Further monitor production achievements vs. targets. Track line’s efficiency, utilization, and downtime; propose corrective actions if needed. Assist production teams with resolving bottlenecks and balancing lines to achieve daily throughput.
- Lean Practices & Efficiency Improvement
- Apply possible & more suitable lean practices to enhance the planning accuracy, reduce wastages, optimize WIP flow, minimize the idle time and avoid line due to poor planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the key communication bridge between production, procurement, warehouse, merchandising, and quality departments. Ensure timely dissemination of production priorities, urgent orders, and plan revisions to all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess
- Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in factory production planning—preferably in Footwear/apparel/consumer goods.
- Hands-on experience with planning software/tools (e.g., ERP, Fast React, Excel).
- Should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Should be a Male candidate.
- Age between 28 - 35 years.
- Working Time: - Monday to Saturday (1/2 Half Day)
