Dutch Lanka Trailers, a leading BOI-approved trailer manufacturer exporting to over 64 countries, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our high-performing team!
SUPPLY CHAIN EXECUTIVE
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Manage the Procurement of Raw materials, Spares Maintenance related items and other goods in line with company requirements and quality standards.
- Identify reliable suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices, terms and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams to forecast material needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and documentations in the system.
- Monitor Market trends and analyze pricing data to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing strategic sourcing plans and supplier risk management strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in supply chain management.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation and communications skills.
- Sound knowledge of local and international sourcing practices.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality standard and vendor compliance requirements.
