This vacancy exists at HNB Securities Limited - a Central Bank appointed Primary Dealer for Government Debt which is actively involved in the distribution and trading of Treasury Bills, Bonds, Repurchase Agreements and listed Corporate Debt.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you driven, persuasive, and passionate about building strong client relationships? Join us as an Executive / Junior Executive – Business Development at our new location in Jaffna and play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and driving growth. In this results-oriented role, you'll support the development and execution of sales strategies for fixed income products, while engaging with institutional, high net-worth, and retail clients to provide tailored investment solutions from our diverse product portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify business opportunities through aggressive marketing / sales strategies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies for fixed income products.
  • Source institutional, high net-worth clients and retail clients and advise them on the most ideal investment options available out of the product portfolio.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in the sale of similar or competing financial products for the Executive role and 1 year's experience for the Junior Executive role.
  • Be part/fully qualified in CIM / SLIM or be an undergraduate following a Marketing degree.
  • The ability to work under pressure and the drive to achieve given objectives/targets.
