Salesperson – Commodity Trading Division
The KALA Group is a commodity business and an integrated commercial and industrial property group that owns, develops, and manages real estate in Sri Lanka, from warehouses to large-scale logistics facilities and retail to commercial office buildings. KALA Group is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidate would be responsible to carry out Sales related duties covering the following.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
- Actively promote and sell key commodity products including Rice, Sugar, Red lentils, cooking oil and Flour.
- Develop and manage a customer base with a focus on increasing sales volume.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct market analysis and gather customer feedback to improve product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales reports to management.
- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in commodities such as Rice, Lentils, Flour, Sugar, and cooking oil.
- Established customer base in the wholesale or retail sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Direct experience in commodity trading will be a significant advantage.
- Fluency in Tamil and Sinhala.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
An attractive remuneration package, health insurance yearly bonus and monthly sales commission will be offered to the right candidate.
