Our team is driven by a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients, and we are now looking for a dedicated professional to join us as Transport Supervisor.
What you need to do:
- Manage vehicle dispatch, routing, and tracking; ensure timely deliveries, especially in the Seeduwa DHL Hub.
- Assign routes, conduct daily briefings for the fleet.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, document renewals, and coordinate quick repairs or accident handling.
- Ensure adherence to DHL guidelines, maintain transport logs, and manage cargo and zone pass clearances.
- Address driver attendance, leave, hiring, resignations, training, and general welfare matters.
- Act as the main contact with DHL to resolve delivery issues, attend meetings, and maintain service standards.
- Prepare and submit operational reports; analyze data on staff usage, mileage, fuel efficiency, and recommend improvements.
What we are looking for:
- Degree / Diploma in supply chain and logistics / Transportation.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
- A strong set of personal skills in previous transport management roles.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, time management, communication and collaboration skills.
- Inclination to data analytics with a data driven mindset.
- Willingness to provide operational support outside of business hours.
- Willing to take on multiple roles based on business needs.
