OFFICER
QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Sri Lanka (Inc.), the leader in Human Resource Management, is rapidly expanding to meet the current and emerging demands of the HR profession. We are seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented professional to fill the vacancy of Officer - Quality Assurance & Compliance.
The ideal candidate should have a pleasant and outgoing personality, be energetic, self-motivated, positive-minded, and be willing to take responsibility and initiative in handling assigned tasks within specific time limits. He/she should be adaptable to working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure academic compliance with local and international regulations in consultation with the Manager - Quality Assurance & Compliance.
- Assist Manager - Quality Assurance & Compliance to conduct internal Quality Audits as per the ISO 9001:2005 & 14001:2015 criteria covering all departments, and regional centers efficiently & effectively.
- Assist with the development of institutional policies, processes and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain QMS and EMS documentation and support for quality planning.
- Conduct monthly quality audits for CIPM head office and regional centers to ensure smooth learning processes for all students at CIPM in consultation with Manager - Quality Assurance & Compliance.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure proper standards of CIPM lecture halls.
- Assist the Manager - Quality Assurance & Compliance to compete for Quality, Productivity and Business Excellence related to competitions.
- Prepare reports regarding quality issues, determine data-driven solutions, and implement quality improvement plans.
- Assist to conduct all staff training sessions on academic regulatory requirements, certification, and accreditation requirements etc.
- Conduct comprehensive building inspections and generate detailed reports.
- Conduct surveys for students, members, internal staff, corporate training and consultancy participants, workshops/seminar attendees, and other relevant stakeholders in consultation with Manager - Quality Assurance & Compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor’s degree in science/mathematics or in the commerce stream.
- Diploma in Quality Management from the reputed institute.
- Internal auditor for ISO 9001QMD and ISO 14001 EMS systems.
SKILLS
- Good analytical and informational analysis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quality Management systems.
- 1+ year experience with Academic Quality Assurance & Compliance.
- Good team player.
Remuneration for the above position is negotiated and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
