We are a leading pharmaceutical company based in Kalubowila on the lookout for an Accounts Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle SSL and VAT payments and return submissions.
- Oversee stock systems for departments.
- Review and approve invoices, sales returns, GRNs, credit notes, and sample/bonus issues.
- Manage payments and claims related to Hospitals & Pharma.
- Maintain monthly sales reports, import costing schedules, and invoice/payment tracking.
- Monitor consignment stock, fixed assets and staff clearances.
- Follow up on debtors, supplier payments and free issue claims.
- Supervise the Accounts Assistant's work.
- Submit weekly stock valuation reports.
- Assist with online payments and ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- A degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (CA, CIMA, ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge of tax compliance, stock management, and import documentation.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
