Are you a dynamic sales professional with experience in handling sales with retail channels? Join our Modern Trade team as a “Channel Manager” to drive sales and grow across leading retail chains!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Introducing company’s products to retail chains and getting them listed in those channels.
- Obtaining orders for all products from those channels.
- To follow up deliveries to CPU of those channels or direct.
- To ensure proper displays of the company’s products on the shelves of all outlets of those channels.
- Collecting payments from the head office of those channels where it is applicable.
- Recommending and implementing sales promotions to be conducted in those channels.
- Providing market information with regard to competitor activities to the management.
- Achieving targets set for those channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with those key retail partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Should possess a good pass in G.C.E A/L.
- Diploma, certification or equivalent in Marketing or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience of more than 03 years in the same capacity in managing retail channels, preferably with FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) will definitely be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of retail sales, merchandising, and promotion strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and create actionable strategies.
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in Colombo and its surrounding areas.
