MANAGER – HR & ADMIN

About us:

Expo Industrial Engineering was established in 20th of February 2007 as a Limited Liability Company, located at PHASE II, E P Z Katunayake. EIE manufacture & supply of Engineering, Injection Molding & Screen Printing Products.

Purpose of the job:

The Manager – HR & Admin is responsible for maintaining harmonious employee relations in the Plant. Further as the HR & Admin Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for leading and managing the employee life cycle including man power planning, recruitment, compensation & benefits, grievance handling, employee conflicts. Ensuring that Plant is compliant to all statutory requirements and labour laws is also critical to the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of HR plans and ensure employee motivation and satisfaction through Industrial relevant HR best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for administration of employee salaries, welfare, benefits and initiatives etc.
  • Ensure compliance to statutory regulations and maintain harmonious employee relations at the Plant.
  • Lead and manage the Plant & HR Team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/ Professional Qualification in HRM or other relevant area.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience at least 5 or above in HR Operations Management probably in Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge in labour law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be an independent person with high interpersonal, analytical, team work & leadership skills.
