CHIEF MECHANIC
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in the engineering department. The ideal candidate should be energetic, a team player with excellent communication, proactive attitude, ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines KPIs.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
- Adjusting machine lay outs/Setting up machines as per product requirements.
- Facilitating to production department with all required machines, attachments or other materials needed for smooth process. Ensure to reduce machine break down times.
- Ensure that the machine inventory is 100% accurate at all given times.
- Focus on making and fixing of folder/other attachments.
- Ensure to strictly abide by the social compliance's standard stipulated by the management on timely manner.
- Monitor and manage duties & responsibilities of mechanical employees in the department effectively and efficiently.
- Focusing on Innovation & KAIZEN and making special attention on internal audit (5S Audit)/ external audit such as QMS/DPR/HRP/GTD etc to meet its requirements.
- Working with Operations Manager and Divisional General Manager to evaluate existing SOP's and fine tuning them regularly.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- National Diploma or Diploma related to Management or related field from recognized institute locally or internationally.
- 05 years of experience in a similar capacity and good knowledge in sewing machinery repair/maintenance and programming of all kinds of electronic sewing machines.
- Communication skills in English.
- Computer literacy.
- Pro-active person to identify potential problems well in advance & take necessary corrective/preventive Action.
- Should be capable to train and develop mechanics based on skill inventory.
- Should have TPM knowledge.
