We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Asst. Quality Controllers to join our Ready-Mix Concrete teams in Kandy and Colombo.

Asst. Quality Controllers

Locations: Ready-mix Concrete Plants – Kandy and Colombo

Job Role:

We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Assistant Quality Controllers to join our Ready-mix Concrete teams in Kandy and Colombo. The selected candidates will play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of our concrete production processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • B.Sc. degree in Physical/Material Science with Chemistry as a subject from a recognized university.
  • Previous experience in QA/QC-related work will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of English and computer literacy is mandatory.
  • Strong time management skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
  • Age should be below 35 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
  • Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and calibration records.
  • Record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in preparing quality reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Identify and report any quality deviations or non-conformances promptly.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QA/QC procedures.
  • Coordinate with production and site teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental regulations in the lab and plant areas.
