Bio-Medical Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain medical instrument systems
- Project planning for new installations
- Provide technical support to end customers
- Training end users and customers on equipment operation
- Respond to service requests and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Routinely complete administrative work, such as, but not limited to Service Reports, Equipment Site Assessments, Inventory Reports, and Equipment Check lists
- Maintain up-to-date customer information, technical files and appropriate databases
- Work in conjunction with other staff to coordinate new system placements, develop leads, promote upgrades and contract renewals etc.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in BSc., Beng. in Electronic, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering
- IESL Associate Membership is required
- Sound Knowledge of electronic/electromechanical systems
- Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Networking and communication protocols (LAN, TCP/IP)
- Demonstrable strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer facing skills along with good technical abilities
- Ability to work autonomously within a structured team
- Working knowledge of the most common OS (Windows) and the most common applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) is desirable.
