Café Manager (Moratuwa)
The Café Manager will oversee all aspects of café operations, ensuring seamless service, staff efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role combines leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality to create an exceptional café experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and train staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and food safety
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure the café meets all health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café at all times
- Collaborate on menu development and promotional activities
- Manage cash handling, daily sales reports
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and service quality
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Proven experience in a similar role (at least 2 years preferred)
- Certification in Hospitality Management or similar field
- Barista skills and knowledge of specialty coffee preparation
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Experience with inventory and cost control
