GUEST SERVICE OFFICER - FRONT OFFICE

Are you a confident and customer-focused professional ready to grow your career in hospitality and tourism? Vella Adventures (Pvt) Ltd., a world-renowned adventure park located in the famous adventure destination of Ella, Sri Lanka, is seeking a young, motivated, and dynamic Guest Service Officer (GSO) to join our team.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a memorable experience from arrival to departure. You will play a key role in guest relations, front desk operations and coordinating guest experiences, while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and professionalism.

Also, there is a special opportunity involving fashion and make-up related duties, supporting guest styling and presentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to all guests.
  • Manage front office operations including registrations, time slot management, guest flow management, and crowd control.
  • Actively promote and upsell park activities, cafe items, and merchandise to maximize revenue.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, safety, and presentation.
  • Support marketing efforts by encouraging guest reviews, social media engagement, and repeat visits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

SPECIAL GUEST EXPERIENCE SEGMENT (MAKE-UP & DRESSING SUPPORT)

Candidates with an interest or background in beauty, styling, or cultural presentation may be involved in a special guest experience segment, including:

  • Assisting guests with basic make-up touch-ups and costume styling support
  • Helping guests prepare for photo opportunities and themed experiences
  • Maintaining high grooming and presentation standards
  • Supporting merchandise and styling-related promotions

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Male or Female candidates aged between 20 - 30 years.
  • Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Beauty Culture, or Customer Service.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, styling, or hospitality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Sinhala (additional languages are an advantage).
  • A sales-oriented mindset with confidence in upselling and guest interaction.
  • Energetic, well-presented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
