Cost Control Assistant

We are a leading food & beverage chain, and we are seeking a numbers-driven, detail oriented Cost Control Assistant to optimise our kitchen efficiencies, monitor inventory and maximise profitability across our 22+ retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Monitoring: Verify daily outlet-to-outlet stock transfers and accurately update inventory movements within the ERP system.
  • Stock Verifications: Conduct routine physical stock counts at store/outlet levels to reconcile system records against actual kitchen data
  • Wastage Tracking: Document daily raw material yields, identify portion control variations, and minimize food and packaging waste
  • Recipe Costing: Maintain up-to-date standard ingredient costs to flag sudden price spikes from food suppliers
  • Variance Reporting: Compile weekly data logs highlighting discrepancies between POS sales records and kitchen ingredient depletion
  • Invoice Auditing: Review vendor delivery notes and supplier invoices to ensure accurate pricing compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Advance Level / Diploma in accounting, stores or cost management
  • 1-2 years of experience in cost control, inventory auditing, preferably in fast-food restaurants
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with POS or restaurant ERP systems.
  • Competencies: Sharp analytical mindset, high speed of execution under tight schedules, and strong numerical skills.
