RESORT MANAGER
AHAS POKUNA HOLIDAY RESORT
Baranda, Kurunegala
AHAS POKUNA HOLIDAY RESORT IS AN ATTRACTIVE, NATURE FRIENDLY RESORT LOCATED IN KURUNEGALA. WE ARE OPERATING LUXURY CABANAS, OPEN RESTAURANTS AND A BANQUET HALLS.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management/ business administration or related degree with 05 years work experience in similar capacity.
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil added an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, ERP systems and other business software.
- Outstanding knowledge of all the hotel operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and manage overall operations of the resort
- Suggest and implement new ideas
- Recruiting, training and supervising the staff.
- Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
- Arrange Promotion campaigns
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyse and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
