ASSISTANT STORES CLERK

LOCATION - PUTTALAM

Job Role :

• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels
• Inspect deliveries and ensure proper storage and timely material dispatch
• Assist with stock counts and resolve discrepancies
• Co-ordinate with supply chain for fuel and material availability
• Process invoices and support basic accounting and financial tasks
• Prepare reports on inventory, fuel usage, and goods movement
• Ensure workplace organization (5S) and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Stores Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory management
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word & Excel and basic ERP systems
• Knowledge of inventory management software
• Experience with banking procedures and invoice processing
• Basic understanding of accounting tasks
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering products and materials management is an advantage
