Structural Engineers - Senior / Junior
STEMS CONSULTANTS (PVT) LTD, established in 1983, is a leading Engineering Consultancy firm specializing in structural design, project management, and construction supervision. STEMS is recognized by the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) for training engineers in building design and construction.
Senior Structural Engineer
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc Eng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- MSc in Structural Engineering and/or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status - added advantage
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, PLAXIS, REVIT, etc.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead structural design for buildings, industrial, and infrastructure projects
- Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, reports, and calculations
- Supervise junior engineers and drafting staff
- Coordinate with Architects, MEP Consultants, and Contractors
- Provide Project Management services as required
Junior Structural Engineer
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc Eng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 1 year experience (Fresh graduates also encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, PLAXIS, REVIT, etc.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute structural design, calculations, and prepare reports for building, industrial, and infrastructure projects under senior guidance
- Supervise drafting staff and conduct site inspections
