WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER - WARIYAPOLA
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods, ensuring seamless movement of products.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to ensure accuracy, conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations.
- Identify areas for process optimization, cost optimization, and quality enhancement, driving a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse processes and layout.
- Lead and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Health & Safety and Procurement to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports for senior management and assist with budget management and cost control initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree and/or equivalent professional qualification related to Warehousing, Business Administration, etc.
- Proficiency in ERP Systems. SAP Operational knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant industrial experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with a proven track record in the FMCG sector.
- Very good IT literacy with a solid knowledge in MS package
- Excellent team player with a strong set of values, sense of integrity and leadership capabilities.
- Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving mindset and ability to work under minimum supervision in a challenging work context.
