Software Engineer (Senior Executive Grade)

Location: IT Department

Job Profile:

This position is responsible for coordinating with clients on requirements, design, and solution architecture, and for designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. The role includes implementing new features and bug fixes in line with the SDLC, conducting code reviews, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s security, audit, and quality standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Software Development or a related field from a recognized university or institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Banking / Financial Sector.
• Experience and knowledge JAVA will be an added advantage.
• Experience of Databases (SQL and DB2), experience in working with IL&E RPG/RPG Free Form Technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with Business Automation Workflow platforms is a added advantage.
• Good knowledge & experience in designing, developing, and implementing best practices for software solutions.
• Understanding of software development methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work under extreme and demanding conditions when necessary
• AI & Intelligent Automation Expertise will be an Added Advantage
