Assistant Manager – Finance (Kaduwela)

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for finalizing monthly / annual financial accounts, management accounts, annual budgeting, and forecasting as per operational needs.
- Ensure financial statements are in accordance with Accounting Standards and coordinate with external auditors.
- Preparation of routine and ad-hoc management reports as requested by management.
- Working capital and treasury management.
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring internal control systems and developing relevant SOPs.
- Planning and coordinating payments and monitoring trade receivables effectively.
- Monitoring and approving all procurements as per the company SOPs.
- Tax and statutory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field; fully or partially qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity or position, including qualifying experience in the relevant field, particularly in an Agriculture / manufacturing organization.
- Exposure to computerized accounting application packages and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and expertise in planning and organizing.
- Strong adaptability, ability to work independently and high level of attention to detail in daily operations and reporting.
