Manager – Stores and Logistics

This role is responsible for managing overall stores operations within the port to support smooth and uninterrupted 24/7 port operations. The position oversees inventory control, material handling, and the safe storage of dangerous goods including lubricants, oil, batteries, and chemicals with proper segregation, labeling, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and operational standards. The role also handles waste disposal in line with local environmental and port regulations and maintains proper disposal documentation for all waste materials.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, Business Management, or a related field from a recognized University or institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in stores/logistics operations, preferably in a port, shipping, or container terminal environment.
• Strong knowledge of stores management systems, inventory control, cargo handling, and 24/7 operational coordination.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage teams under a fast-paced port operational environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English with good PR skills.
• Multiskilling ability to work under pressure while managing various operational demands of the port.
