GENERAL LEDGER RECONCILIATIONS MANAGER GRADE
We are a dynamic and fast-growing finance company, a subsidiary of the Bank of Ceylon, dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions to individuals and businesses. We are looking for a skilled professional to lead General Ledger Reconciliations, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the overall General Ledger (GL) reconciliation process.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of all reconciliations.
- Review reconciliation statements and follow up on outstanding items.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with GL Reconciliation Policy and internal controls.
- Ensure timely submission of CBSL regulatory returns.
- Prepare periodic reports and updates to management.
- Guide and support team members in reconciliation activities.
Education & Experience
- Part or full qualification in CA Sri Lanka (completion preferred).
- A degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognised university is an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting with strong exposure to GL reconciliations.
- Prior experience in a banking or financial services environment is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of GL processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with CBSL reporting requirements is advantageous.
