Job Summary
Dewon Construction LTD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsperson to join our growing design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for architectural, engineering, and construction projects, based on inputs from engineers, architects, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural, engineering, and construction projects
- Interpret sketches, design concepts, and technical specifications into accurate drawings
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and company procedures
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve drawing discrepancies
- Maintain drawing registers, documentation, and version control
- Assist with quantity take-offs and preparation of drawing packages for tender or submissions
- Support team members with AutoCAD-related tasks when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsperson or in a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D)
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, scales, and dimensional
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Relevant qualification in drafting or a related field
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and terminology
- Experience: 1–2 years
