About HSB Marine Group
HSB Marine Group is an international marine technology, floating infrastructure, and on-water construction group.
The group is currently expanding its operations across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, the UAE and other international markets. We are building a modern management system supported by AI tools, structured project dashboards, Google Workspace, Miro boards, and internal operating systems.
We are now looking for a highly capable, structured, and forward-thinking Project Lead — Digital Systems & AI Operations to help build the company's IT and AI management backbone.
Role Summary
The Project Lead – Digital Systems & AI Operations will be responsible for developing, organizing, and managing the company's digital management systems, internal data structure, AI-supported workflows, and automation projects.
This is not a traditional IT support role. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between management, operations, AI tools, software systems, and technical execution.
The role requires strong project leadership, systems thinking, digital tool knowledge, AI curiosity, documentation discipline, and the ability to work closely with the Founder & CEO, department heads, project teams, and technical specialists.
The successful candidate will help HSB Marine Group build a more organized, data-driven, AI-assisted company operating system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital systems and AI-related internal projects.
- Organize and improve Google Drive, Google Sheets, dashboards, Miro boards, and internal workflows.
- Support the development of OWA, the company’s AI-supported management system.
- Coordinate with AI engineers, software developers, consultants, and management teams.
- Convert business needs into clear system requirements, task lists, and implementation plans.
- Build and maintain structured knowledge bases, file systems, templates, and reporting formats.
- Help automate or simplify repetitive management and reporting tasks.
- Support dashboard development, task tracking, decision logs, project reports, and CEO briefs.
- Manage access, permissions, digital tool discipline, and basic IT coordination.
- Report progress, risks, and system improvement needs to the Founder & CEO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, IT systems, digital transformation, business systems, operations, or software project coordination.
- Strong command of Google Workspace, especially Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar.
- Experience with tools such as Miro, Notion, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organization, documentation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with both technical and business teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI tools, ChatGPT, automation, no-code/low-code tools, APIs, or workflow automation.
- Experience with Google Apps Script, AppSheet, Airtable, Zapier, Make, Python, or similar tools.
- Experience in construction, engineering, marine, logistics, energy, real estate, or project-based companies.
- Experience managing developers, AI engineers, IT teams, or external technical consultants.
