Position
Auto Engineer Fleet Management
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing schedules of all company vehicles.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for the fleet.
- Diagnose vehicle issues and provide technical guidance to mechanics and service teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers, garages, and insurance providers for timely repairs and renewals.
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and service records for efficiency tracking.
- Manage vehicle registration, licensing, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and manage the annual fleet maintenance budget.
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety, emission, and operational standards.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Recommend fleet upgrades or replacements based on cost-benefit analysis.

Requirements
- HNDE in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in fleet management or automotive maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair processes, and preventive maintenance systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Valid driving license (preferably heavy vehicle license will be an advantage).
