Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery
Personal Chef
We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie specializing in Pastry and Bakery for the Chairman's bungalow. The selected candidate should have strong skills in preparing pastries, bakery items, desserts, and special occasion menus while maintaining excellent quality and presentation standards.
- POSITION: Chef de Partie (Station Chef) – Pastry & Bakery
- PLACEMENT: Chairman’s Bungalow – Pussellawa
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 Years
- EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time: Live-In
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare daily and special occasion pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and bakery items.
- Create high-quality plated desserts, tea-time items, and baked goods.
- Plan dessert and bakery menus according to preferences and requirements.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure proper kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage standards.
- Manage ingredients, bakery stock, and grocery requirements.
- Prepare items for private gatherings, guests, and special events.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct within the bungalow environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pastry Chef / Bakery Chef / Chef de Partie – Pastry.
- Strong experience in pastry, bakery, cakes, desserts, and bread preparation.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, bakery, private residence, or bungalow kitchen will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, storage, and kitchen inventory management.
- Creative approach to desserts and presentation.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Experience in cocktail preparation, beverage pairing, or bar service.
