SENIOR RM BUYER

The Continental plant in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, is a leading producer of industrial solid tires in the field of material handling, earth moving & port operations.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as Senior RM Buyer at our Kalutara facility.

Your tasks

• Manage end-to-end raw material (RM) purchasing activities, ensuring timely ordering, delivery, and availability to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Develop and maintain RM budgets and forecasts, aligning supply plans with production requirements and inventory targets.
• Create, monitor, and track purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation, timely confirmations, and resolution of delivery issues.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage RM changes, optimize supply chain performance, and ensure data accuracy in SAP systems.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized professional body.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain–related role.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks independently and handle challenges effectively.
