MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCES

Softlogic Stockbrokers, a leading stockbroking and investment services firm in Sri Lanka and a wholly owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Manager – Human Resources to oversee and execute the end-to-end HR function of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute the overall HR function including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, compensation & benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Take ownership of the talent acquisition strategy and actively build talent pipelines for both entry-level and experienced hiring.
  • Network and engage with universities, professional institutes, industry networks, and related talent sources to attract individuals interested in building a career in the stockbroking and financial services industry.
  • Identify and attract experienced professionals from the industry to strengthen business capabilities and support organizational growth.
  • Partner with business leadership to understand workforce requirements and drive proactive hiring initiatives.
  • Drive HR policies, processes, and compliance aligned with company and sector standards.
  • Support culture building, employee wellbeing, and retention initiatives.
  • Oversee payroll coordination, HR operations, and HR reporting.
  • Ensure effective handling of disciplinary matters and employee grievances.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to support business growth.
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to handling the full HR function.
  • Strong exposure to talent acquisition and employer networking initiatives.
  • Prior experience in the financial services sector would be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Strong understanding of Sri Lankan labour laws and HR best practices.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and business acumen.
