PRODUCTION ENGINEER – (AM / SENIOR EXECUTIVE)
Responsibilities
- Overall Manufacturing responsibility – achieving budgeted manufacturing targets and parameters.
- Leading, Coordinating, and Facilitating all manufacturing depts to achieve their respective targets.
- Plan and Execute production schedules.
- Ensuring all operators are trained to standards.
- Consistent analysis of Productivity and Performance Indicators.
- Execute internal controls and ensure product quality standards are strictly enforced.
- Support new product development and process optimization activities.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Production engineering – Polyethylene extrusion (LLDPE/LDPE/HDPE) is required.
- BSc Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Polymer Science, Manufacturing Management or Physical Science from a recognized University.
- knowledge and experience with ISO, BRC, and Lean Management concepts are required.
- Experience working in an Export-oriented organization is an advantage.
- Attitude – must be confident and handle pressure situations working in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala, all forms.
