The Job:

  • Create high-quality social media content and marketing creatives for multiple brands using Canva.
  • Design engaging social media posts, banners, posters, promotional materials, and digital and print assets aligned with each venue’s brand guidelines, using Canva to create and resize designs across multiple formats.
  • Create fresh content from existing and archived photos to keep social media feeds visually engaging and up to date, avoiding repeated use of the same imagery for recurring events.
  • Manage and schedule content across multiple venues and businesses using Meta Business Suite.
  • Develop monthly social media content calendars for more than 10 venues/businesses, planned and scheduled at least one month in advance.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to produce creative content quickly and efficiently using Canva.
  • Assist with planning and running paid campaigns through Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager.
  • Write engaging captions and social media copy, incorporating relevant trending hashtags tailored to each individual business.
  • Create engaging reels for monthly content schedules, aligned with current Instagram and Facebook trends, using supplied venue videos and photos.
  • Use CapCut for video editing and creating quick, trend-driven reels.
  • Monitor social media trends and develop relevant, creative content ideas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing content and campaigns.
  • Support website updates and EDM creation where required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) and Canva.
  • Strong understanding of creating print-ready assets using Canva and Adobe InDesign.
  • Ability to create artwork and copy for venue events such as Footy Finals Party across both digital and print formats, based on a one-page event brief containing event time, date, and key details. This includes independently sourcing suitable imagery from provided photo libraries as well as stock images available through Canva. Ability to complete these types of tasks within a 45-minute timeframe.
  • Ability to create social media content quickly while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
  • Experience with WordPress and website management, and some experience with Mailchimp, would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, including Ads Manager and running paid social campaigns.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills for social media content and captions.
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts and monthly content calendars/schedules.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and original content ideas.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to different brands quickly.
