We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as Manager – Mortgage Loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the mortgage loan portfolio, managing customer relationships, ensuring high-quality credit assessments, and leading the mortgage lending operations in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.
MANAGER – MORTGAGE LOANS
Location – Head Office
The selected candidate will be responsible for,
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve mortgage loan business targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Evaluate mortgage loan applications and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolio performance and maintain high asset quality standards.
- Coordinate with valuation, legal and credit teams to ensure timely processing and disbursement of loans.
- Lead, supervise and motivate the mortgage loan team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and recommend product improvements to remain competitive.
- Ensure excellent customer service and efficient handling of customer inquiries and complaints.
- Prepare periodic reports on business performance, portfolio growth, and risk indicators.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Marketing or a related field.
- Professional qualifications in banking or finance will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in mortgage lending, banking or financial services with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, credit evaluation and banking regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and banking systems.
