ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER (SEWING)
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day sewing operations across production lines.
- Monitor line performance and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Support in line planning, machine allocation, and manpower distribution.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize defects during sewing.
- Work closely with the Quality team to address and resolve issues.
- Monitor efficiency levels and implement improvements to increase productivity.
- Ensure proper line balancing and workflow optimization.
- Coordinate with cutting, finishing, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Supervise and guide line supervisors and operators.
- Ensure compliance with safety, company policies, and buyer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in sewing operations.
- Good knowledge of sewing processes, machine handling, and line management.
- Understanding of production planning, line balancing, and efficiency improvement.
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP systems preferred).
- Good communication skills.
