The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE)

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka (NCE) is the leading Business Chamber which serves the Exporters of Sri Lanka and also represents them with relevant state authorities. The Chamber carries out many activities to promote exports from Sri Lanka. These include foreign trade missions, advisory services to members, providing country of origin certificates to exporters, conducting seminars and workshops, recognizing outstanding performance of Exporters through the annual NCE Export Awards, representing members at discussions with government policy makers, publication of The Sri Lanka Exporter quarterly journal etc.

Office Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic Office Assistant to join us. The ideal candidate should be organized, accurate and able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining compliance and required standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Support office administration and maintenance activities
• Coordinate distribution of publications and correspondence
• Manage office supplies, stationery and inventory records
• Liaise with members, suppliers and internal departments
• Handle document verification, filing and record maintenance
• Coordinate courier services, banking and bill payments
• Handle document verification, filing and record maintenance
• Assist with Certificate of Origin (CO) processing and customer coordination

Key Requirements

• G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent
• Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Previous experience in administration or operations will be an added advantage
