Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end New Product Development (Chocolate & Snack) and improve existing products & process Improvements.
  • Conduct required market research & sensory evaluations.
  • Conduct laboratory trials, pilot trials, and scale-up activities for commercial production.
  • Conduct and follow-up initial commercial production runs to ensure successful implementation.
  • Evaluate the compliances of raw material and packaging material for the products & maintain good controls of the materials
  • Coordinate with relevant parties for processes improvement.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all R&D trials and related activities.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Responsible for compliance status of packaging and labeling requirements of the food regulations.
  • Investigate & resolve quality issues, implementing corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Analyze data and prepare required reports, and recommendations.

Personal Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or similar discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of Industry standards & food regulations.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques and product analysis & ERP system
  • Knowledge in FSSC, GMP, SLS, Halal, HACCP standards.
  • Good communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management & analytical skills.
