Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Business Development to drive regional sales growth and market expansion. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing field sales operations, and building strong relationships with distributors and retailers to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to enhance market presence and deliver business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and market expansion plans to achieve regional targets and business growth.
  • Identify new retail outlets and expand market coverage by exploring new geographic areas and customer segments.
  • Drive sales performance by ensuring achievement of monthly and quarterly targets and increasing product visibility.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage field sales teams to maintain high performance and productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, franchise partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics to support business decisions.
  • Ensure proper stock availability, timely replenishment, and smooth trade operations across the region.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in general trade or retail distribution environments.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and performance management, with the ability to drive teams toward achieving targets.
  • Strong knowledge of market expansion strategies, sales operations, and distribution management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience in sales reporting and market analysis.
