VACANCY: GRAPHIC DESIGNER & PLANNING EXECUTIVE (ARTWORK & PLANNING)
A leading offset printing and packaging company in Sri Lanka, is looking for a creative, detail-oriented and well-organized individual with strong planning skills to join our team for immediate recruitment.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for creating high-quality artwork for various printing and packaging projects and planning workflows, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate should combine creativity with strong organizational skills to meet client expectations and deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Artwork Creation: Design and prepare artwork for print including packaging, labels, brochures, and other promotional materials.
- Pre-Press & File Preparation: Ensure all artwork is print-ready, following company standards and client requirements.
- Planning & Scheduling: Plan and coordinate artwork and print jobs, manage timelines, and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coordination: Liaise with sales, production, and clients to understand requirements and ensure accurate and timely output.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements in design processes and planning methods for better efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and planning in a printing or packaging industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and other design tools. Knowledge of pre-press, color management and printing processes is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong planning, time management and organizational skills. Creative thinking with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio of design work is essential.
