ENGINEER - PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineer - Product Development. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading product and process development activities while working closely with cross-functional teams to support innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. WHAT PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS DO
- Lead product development and continuous improvement projects from concept to implementation.
- Design, develop, and optimize engineering processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of development activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical drawings (solid work, Auto cad, Fusion 360) specifications, reports, and related development documentation.
- Conduct testing, evaluation, and validation of products, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and provide effective corrective actions.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed according to schedule.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and company procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team and other relevant departments, especially in product integration in production.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
- Minimum 02 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven leadership ability in handling development teams and engineering projects
- Experience in wire harness industry would be an advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage
